The role
We are searching to hire a Scheduler to join our team!
During your day you will
- Schedule and optimize routing of trucks and vessels to gas stations using routing optimization tools to minimize costs and ensure product availability
- Monitor gas station stock levels daily and coordinate orders and ad-hoc deliveries to prevent stockouts
- Adjust delivery schedules manually to accommodate ad-hoc orders or delays caused by credit or operational issues
- Execute manual routing where automated systems are not applicable
- Track and analyze delivery performance to ensure adherence to schedules and service level targets
- Identify and recommend enhancements to the automated routing optimization tool to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Service, Credit, Distribution, Operations) to ensure smooth distribution
What you need to stand out
- Degree in Logistics Engineering or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in logistics or distribution operations
- Good understanding of road transport and distribution processes
- Experience with routing optimization tools (e.g. ORTEC) will be considered an asset
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
- Good computer skills
- Strong communication and customer service orientation
