The Company
OFC is a joint venture between Motor Oil (Hellas) Corinth Refineries S.A., AVIN OIL S.A., Skytanking NV, and Hansaconsult GmbH. OFC is also among Europe's high-standard aviation fuel supply facilities.
Starting with the role:
Currently we are searching to hire an Assistant Operations Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the facilities by carrying out all fuel quality checks and the safety of the installations in accordance with JIG, EI, IATA standards, and legislation, as well as the management of the materials warehouse and safety & health systems.
During your day you will:
- Be responsible for:
-Researching and collecting information regarding legislation related to quality and safety-health
-Distributing the legislation to the relevant parties
-Developing and maintaining an index and relevant literature of the legislation
-Coordinating internal meetings
- Monitor the Safety and Health Management System
- Design and create procedures, manuals, and standards when required by legislation or operational needs
- Contribute to process improvement and staff training
- Monitor all quantitative results arising from the operation of the facility (productivity, material deviations, inventory, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures of the facilities during operations and fuel quality control
- Cooperate with airport authorities to coordinate operational tasks
- Resolve issues arising from all shifts to ensure the smooth operation of the facility
- Ensure the proper functioning of systems for the safety of the facilities and equipment
- Conduct the periodic HSSE inspection of OFC facilities
- Ensure the prompt and effective management of issues or improvements related to quality control and facility safety
- Supervise the execution of technical works (improvements, new projects)
What you need to stand out:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in quality checks of Aviation Fuel facilities based on JIG, EI, IATA standards, and legislation
- Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to foster teamwork and achieve complex goals
- Proficient use of AutoCAD, MS Word and Excel
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
