The Company
OFC is a joint venture between Motor Oil (Hellas) Corinth Refineries S.A., AVIN OIL S.A., Skytanking NV, and Hansaconsult GmbH. OFC is also among Europe's high-standard aviation fuel supply facilities.
Starting with the role:
Currently we are searching to hire a Construction Manager, to join our team at OFC TECHNICAL S.A, a subsidiary of OFC, to be responsible for construction delivery across the company’s project portfolio, ensuring alignment with design, quality, QHSSE, regulatory, schedule and cost requirements. The Construction Manager will also be responsible to oversee portfolio performance, governance, commercial/contract management, risk resolution and cross-functional integration, while strengthening delivery capabilities and continuous improvement.
During your day you will:
- Provide executive oversight of the construction portfolio to ensure full alignment with design, quality standards, QHSSE requirements and applicable regulatory obligations
- Own escalation and resolution of critical delivery risks, deviations and technical issues, steering corrective actions and ensuring continuity of project execution
- Set the strategic direction and delivery model for construction across the company’s projects, building and sustaining effective partnerships with key stakeholders, contractors and delivery partners
- Lead portfolio performance management, tracking schedule, budget and delivery outcomes and ensures robust technical and financial governance and reporting
- Ensure multidisciplinary oversight and integration, enabling efficient delivery and handover readiness
- Perform on site visits, supervise and coordinate construction projects’ activities
- Develop the Construction team’s capabilities in line with continuous improvement goals
What you need to stand out:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 15 years of professional experience in construction projects, including large-scale construction works and complex construction environments
- At least 5 years of managerial experience leading construction supervision and project delivery teams
- Master’ degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or Project Management related field or MBA is considered a plus
- Ability to manage technical teams of all categories
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
- Proficient use of MS Office tools
