The Company

OFC, a joint venture between Motor Oil (Hellas) Corinth Refineries S.A., AVIN OIL S.A., Skytanking NV, and Hansaconsult GmbH, is considered one of the high-standard aviation fuel supply facilities in Europe.

Starting with the role:

Currently, we are searching to hire a Head of Procurement, to join our team at OFC TECHNICAL S.A., a subsidiary of OFC, to be responsible for devising and refining procurement and sourcing strategies, to ensure timely, accurate and cost-efficient delivery of the required materials and/ or services and drive the execution of all operational activities related to Procurement.

During your day you will:

• Develop the procurement plan in accordance with business requirements and forecasted demands across all sites and the office.
• Facilitate the timely and accurate execution of the procurement plan (from acquisition to receipt of goods and services) while maintaining the control of procurement budget and ensuring conformity with the Procurement Standards, as defined by the Company’s respective policies and processes
• Maintain and strengthen the relationship with existing strategic vendors and continually examine the local and regional market for new vendors or subcontractors
• Work collaboratively with the Company’s teams to understand their business needs and to:

• • Negotiate and monitor contract terms with vendors/ subcontractors and facilitate the resolution of claims and/or complaints to ensure timely and cost-effective resolution
  • Evaluate vendors and their respective proposals, ensuring their ability to meet the Company’s needs and standards and to deliver the most efficient and cost-effective solutions

• Ensure that purchasing policies and process are in place to meet business objectives, identify gaps or any other emerging needs and propose improvements
• Contribute to the development of procurement related performance and reporting tools (periodical & ad-hoc) and upon the extraction and analyse of the respective data, provide insights and recommendations to Management  

What you need to stand out:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, and/or Finance
• Master's degree in Logistics (non-compulsory – preferably)
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position/ industry 
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, very good knowledge of MS Windows and MS Word
