Starting with the role:
Currently we are searching to hire an Accounting Associate responsible to perform accounting for RBA network, Coral Pass and Lubricants business areas. The role provides financial support for the unit in the performance of duties of the finance department as a whole and assists in monthly reporting and analysis.
During your day you will:
- Support CoralPass billing and Galaxy v SAP reconciliation, ensuring that all daily transactions are uploaded, process receivables and customer liaising regarding accounting matters.
- Create JCC payment link for new account openings and perform JCC Smart monthly reconciliation for CoralPass payments
- Manage accounting processes of RBA network, monthly payables/receivables analysis, set off and clearing accounts
- Prepare monthly sales report for operations department
- Handle RBA Stock transfers and stock reconciliation with the warehouse
- Issue credit notes for promotional schemes provided by operations department
- Collect and check information, prepare analytical summarized table, issue credit notes for customers
- Calculate SDC and GESY on the lease of land, while also preparing forms for landowners regarding payments
- Upload to the server extract from BOC daily statement with RBA cash collections and ensure that upload to SAP was successful
- Assist with monthly bank reconciliation regarding open receivables
- Create online banking transfer requests for customs, taxes, interaccount transfers or any other manual payments requests.
- Collect employees/landowners/managers expense reports and prepare payment proposals once recorded.
- Assist in the preparation of the financial audit
- Implement and maintain internal financial control and procedures
What you need to stand out:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline
- Master’s degree or additional relevant studies will be considered a plus
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Good understanding of accounting and financial principles and practices
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with SAP
- Verbal and written communication skills both in Greek and English
- Attention to detail
