Starting with the role:

Currently we are searching to hire a Head of Project Manager Office who will be responsible for leading the Project Management Office within the Construction Department, focusing on project controls and governance, ensuring consistent tracking of progress, risks, budgets and timelines across the Company’s construction projects.

During your day you will:

  • Oversee the Company’s construction-related projects by monitoring their progress, timelines, budgets, potential claim and deliverables, ensuring appropriate project controls are in place to support their successful implementation
  • Monitor and maintain risk registers and issue logs, escalating critical risks when necessary to ensure timely mitigation
  • Ensure consistent application of the company’s project management methodology, tools and documentation standards across projects
  • Develop and oversee centralized reporting frameworks and performance dashboards to support strategic decision-making by senior leadership
  • Lead and mentor PMO Associates in delivering accurate and timely project reports
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure the accuracy of project data to assess the validity and impact of claims
  • Facilitate post-project evaluations and lesson learned exercises to drive continuous improvement in project execution and controls

What you need to stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering or other Science related field (non-compulsory – preferably)
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in Project Management, preferably in Public-Sector Infrastructure Projects
  • Experience in geophysical/geotechnical studies
  • Knowledge of Program/ Project Management methodologies and Project financials and budgets management
  • Strong knowledge of Project management tools (Primavera, MS Project etc.)
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
  • Proficient use of MS Office tools
