Starting with the role:
We are currently searching to hire a a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Legal Counsel to join our Legal Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a young legal professional to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced corporate environment.
During your day you will:
- Provide legal support on corporate, commercial, and public tender matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and provide case support
- Maintain accurate legal records and case files
- Translate complex legal concepts into practical guidance on public tenders related issues
- Monitor legal developments that could impact HELECTOR and the broader industry, anticipating challenges and contributing to the ongoing development of internal processes
- Assess the impact of changes in the legal framework for the company’s business and raise awareness of internal teams
What you need to stand out:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university.
- Master’s degree (LLM) will be considered an asset
- Member of the Athens Bar Association (or eligible to register)
- 1–3 years of relevant legal experience, ideally in a corporate or law firm environment
- Excellent command of English and Greek, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Efficiency in handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Meeting deadlines
