Starting with the role:

Currently, we are searching to hire a Leachate Treatment Engineer, to support in leachate treatment plants design, construction, operation and upgrade.

Location: Nea Kifissia

During your day you will:

  • Design the biological, chemical and mechanical processes for leachate treatment plants, including process, layout, hydraulic, control philosophy, both at a conceptual and final design stage
  • Prepare the Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Mass Balances (MB) according to international standards
  • Prepare detailed equipment specifications as part of the RFQ process, conduct technical bid analysis and propose equipment, defining specifications and testing schedule
  • Support the tendering process, collaborating with the Tendering and Engineering teams towards the preparation of technical offers
  • Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders, such as technical consultants, technology providers, subcontractors and engineering teams to resolve technical issues
  • Perform site visits, when required, to evaluate, monitor and provide support on the construction/ operation of the leachate treatment plants

What you need to stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering
  • A Master’s degree will be considered an asset
  • Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in Engineering departments
  • Previous experience in wastewater or water treatment projects will be considered an asset
  • Solid understanding of international standards for industrial facility design (e.g. ANSI/ISA, ISO/IEC, KKS, AKS)
  • Good knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and standards
  • Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD 2D
  • Excellent command of English and Greek, both written and verbal
